Comments: The VA model adopts the W3C HCLS DataSet Model view that DataSets can be considered and described at three levels: - A 'Summary' level considers the Data Set at the most abstract/general level, independent of a specific version or format. - A 'Version' level considers a specific version of a Data Set, which may acquire version-specific characteristics (e.g. a release date). - A 'Distribution' level considers a specific format/encoding of a dataset version, which may acquire distribution-specific characteristics (e.g. a format, or downloadURL). The attributes defiend for the DataSet object may apply to all or only specific levels - as noted in comments for each attribute.
